Norton Specialty Pharmacy offers medications that can be difficult to find for complex, rare and chronic health conditions.
Because of the complex nature of some conditions and their treatment, patients who use our specialty pharmacy typically need more service than a traditional pharmacy would provide. Our specialty pharmacists provide a higher level of service, including regular consultations with you, while also collaborating with your provider.
Specialty pharmacy team members consult with patients regularly on their medications and treatment plan, making sure they get their prescriptions quickly and accurately.

In many cases, your provider will send a prescription to our pharmacy when your treatment is determined in the office or clinic. We also will work with your provider to obtain a new prescription at your request.
A member of our team will contact you when a refill is due, several days before you run out of medication. If you need a refill before we contact you, call (502) 559-1310 or (866) 616-8088. We will coordinate pickup or delivery of your prescription.
Norton Specialty Pharmacy has access to and stocks a wide variety of specialty medications. In the event that we are not able to obtain your medication, we will work with you and another pharmacy to ensure you have access to your medication.
Norton Specialty Pharmacy is able to accept and bill most insurance plans. If your insurance requires you to use another pharmacy, we will work with you and the other pharmacy to ensure the prescription is moved and you have access to your medication.
Patient Management Services is encouraged for all patients. We especially encourage patients who are taking high-risk medications or who have difficulty following their medication plan to participate in this free service. When we first speak to you, we will offer to enroll you in the program. Your enrollment is completely up to you, and you may opt out at any time.
Norton Specialty Pharmacy will work with your insurance company to bill for your medication. If any copay is not affordable, we will work with you and available financial support resources, possibly lowering your costs. You will always be informed of the exact amount that you are responsible to pay for your prescription.
